Cialis cleared for continuous use by European Commission

The once-a-day version Cialis has achieved another landmark when European Commission has granted marketing authorization for Cialis(R) (tadalafil)(1) 2.5 mg and 5 mg, an oral PDE5 inhibitor dosed once daily to treat erectile dysfunction (ED).

The once-a-day version will be marketed for men who anticipate having sex two or more times a week, without confining it to a limited time. The current dosage of Cialis works for about 36 hours. Doctors say they expect Cialis' once-a-day version to catch on. Dr. Ronald Suh - who works at Urology of Indiana - said, "The baby boomer population is growing. I think a certain patient group could benefit. They want to take it now be and ready whenever."
